About Us

maid.zone is a small collective of friends. We develop and provide different open-source frontends/services, for free. It was started by laptopcat, on August 18th, 2024. maid.zone is mainly administrated and funded by laptopcat, but other members help out greatly too. You can see the list of members on the main page

Infrastructure

We run most services on a VPS located in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. We rent it from Datalix (non-aff.)

We also have a VPS in London, United Kingdom. It serves second instances of some services, namely soundcloak and rens. We rent it from Lagrange


I am trying to expand our infrastructure to other regions too, not just europe. We do not collect analytics, so if you are using our instances (especially privacy frontends), reach out to me, I would like to hear what country/region you are from
